While the Hindi belt carried the film comfortably, regional language versions showed limited traction. The Telugu version contributed Rs 1.30 crore from 700 shows with 35.0% occupancy. Tamil added Rs 0.44 crore across 356 shows at 27.0% occupancy.
Markets like Kannada and Malayalam remained largely passive. Kannada earned Rs 0.03 crore from just 20 shows, and Malayalam brought in Rs 0.01 crore from 24 shows. These numbers reflect the film’s primarily Hindi-audience-driven appeal, with limited dubbed-version penetration so far.

Shortly after, the film overtook Fighter‘s total domestic lifetime earnings of Rs 212 crore nett. At the current pace, it is closing in on War‘s Rs 236 crore nett — one of the genre’s stronger benchmarks in recent memory.
Industry trackers now expect the film to cross the Rs 250 crore domestic mark by end of Saturday.
Global Opening Among Biggest for a Hindi Film
Dhurandhar 2’s worldwide opening day performance was equally significant. The film collected Rs 236.63 crore globally on day 1. Of this, Rs 145.55 crore came from India nett collections and Rs 172.63 crore from the India gross figure. Overseas markets contributed Rs 64 crore to the global day 1 total.
The film had also built strong pre-release momentum through paid previews. Worldwide preview collections reached Rs 73.85 crore, which included Rs 43 crore in India nett, Rs 51.60 crore in India gross, and Rs 22.25 crore from international markets. These preview figures alone would have been considered a solid opening weekend for many mid-budget releases.
