WhatsApp is all set to test its ‘double tap feature’ for its Android version m that will let users react to the messages in a quicker manner. The default emoji will crop up once the user double taps on the message that they would be reacting to . In this manner, users can quickly react to the photos and videos from the media viewer screen. However, this feature is not a new development. The option of quickly reacting to the messages was accessible to the users in the latest version of WhatsApp such as, ‘Android beta app version 2.24.16.7.’ The ‘double -tap’ feature is accessible only to the users who have joined the beta tester program. - Extended Language support using Meta AI, to enable WhatsApp to become multilingual. The new countries that will come under the ambit of this AI Chabot are Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Cameroon and Columbia. In addition the Chabot is now supported by several new languages. Earlier, it could only accept prompts and can generate responses in English. Presently, other languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, German and Hindi have also been included. The upcoming time is ready to witness the inclusion of more languages.
