In Thailand, the tourism industry naturally drives visitors globally. By recognizing the diversity of different people, cultures, and whatnot. The mobile phone disaster alert system will offer multilingual support. That is, alerts will be delivered in five languages which includes; THAI, ENGLISH, CHINESE, JAPANESE, and RUSSIAN. This, in essence, will help foreign visitors to comprehend or understand critical information and take necessary precautions during such unforeseen contingencies.

Immediate warnings are not only the peculiar benefit or feature accrued to the disaster alert system.

It is capable of disseminating post-disaster information that is crucial.  This includes updates on shelter locations, and access to basic amenities like food, water, roads, and so on. As a result of this information provided by the alert system, individuals who are residents, visitors, and the like stay informed and navigate such challenges.

  1.  Collaborative Effort for Maximum Efficiency

The successful operation/commencement of this system relies heavily on various stakeholders’ collaboration. NBTC plays an important role in coordinating the technical aspects and ensures the smooth running of the system.

Mobile phone users are responsible for delivering alerts to their subscribers within designated areas.

In addition, management authorities provide the necessary information and determine when to activate the alert system. This cooperative effort ensures timely and accurate warnings reach the public.
