Official category-wise cut-off table for SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2025 showing UR, OBC, SC, and ST marks.

The Staff Selection Commission has officially declared the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2025. Candidates who appeared for the Combined Higher Secondary Level examination between November 12 and November 30 can now check their qualifying status. The roll number-wise merit lists are available for immediate download on the commission’s official website.

Understanding the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2025 Criteria

To ensure absolute fairness across multiple exam shifts, the commission has normalized the candidates’ marks. Qualifying for the next stage depends heavily on specific percentile criteria rather than just raw scores. Unreserved (UR) category candidates must secure at least the 30th percentile to pass. Meanwhile, candidates from Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) require the 25th percentile. All other reserved categories must achieve at least the 20th percentile to move forward in the recruitment process.

Category-Wise Cut-Off Marks for LDC and JSA

The official cut-off marks determine exactly who advances to the Tier 2 stage. For the highly sought-after posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Clerk-Cum-Typist, the competition remains intensely high this year.

Category-Wise Cut-Off Marks for LDC and JSA

The Unreserved (UR) category cut-off stands at 144.25858, with 5,070 candidates clearing the benchmark. The OBC cut-off is slightly lower at 143.83055, which successfully shortlisted 11,051 candidates. Additionally, the EWS category saw a competitive cut-off of 141.42492. These figures clearly highlight the growing competition for government administrative roles.

Details on Withheld Candidates and Exceptions

While the majority of the results were processed and published smoothly, the commission reported a few administrative exceptions. The results of 10 specific candidates have been temporarily withheld due to internal verification reasons. However, these withheld candidates are provisionally permitted to appear for the upcoming Tier 2 examination while their cases are resolved. Furthermore, the commission explicitly stated that the results of two particular candidates were not processed at all.
