This is as Oppo launches its latest budget 5G phone in India, the Oppo A3 5G, days after it launched the A3x 5G. While it appears that it has quite a lot in common with its predecessor, the A3 5G now comes with a few improvements.
Well, let me explain to you what ticks this phone.
Oppo A3 5G Highlights
The A3 5G has a platinum silver metallic finish at the back while the frame is made of stainless steel, it features a 6. This uses a 67-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness, perfect for daily use.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 is at the heart of it, accompanied by a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which guarantees good performance at a sensible price.
In India, it’s available in a single configuration: 6GB of RAM with the ability to expand nearly infinitely, as well as 128 GB of onboard storage. It operates on the newest ColorOS 14 variant. 0. 1 which is built on Android 14, so you get the greatest features out of the box.
One area that the A3 5G stands out more than the A3x is the camera setup.
The primary camera is set with a 50MP main sensor with autofocus and improved LED Flash for clear and distinct shots at night. At the front, without any notch, there is a 5MP camera for selfies.
For power, there is a massive 5,100mAh battery and refueling it is as easy as pie thanks to 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. As for connectivity, there’s Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5. 3 ports, USB Type-C, and of course the number 3, the classic 3. 5mm headphone jack. Still, the Indian version lacks the NFC feature.
The A3 5G stands up to life’s bumps and splashes: it’s wrapped in a military-tested, drop and water-resistant coat.
The biometrics are an in-display fingerprint scanner, and face unlock, and despite all these fancy features, the phone is not heavy at all – it tips the scale at 187 gm and is 7. 7mm thick.
