Nothing Phone 2a Plus India Launch: Event Details, How to Watch, and Expected Price

The launch date for the Nothing Phone 2a Plus is now final and the company now stands on the verge of adding yet another device to its list of products introduced in the market, both in India and other markets globally. The Phone 2a came just months ago, and there was a lot of questioning about what the add-on value, as well as purpose, was for bringing a Plus variant so soon.

The ‘Plus’ version historically has a bigger screen, but most of the teasers are pointing that the Phone 2a Plus will focus more on performance upgrades and others. More details will be presented during today’s launch event, which can be streamed online.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus Launch Event: Timings and How to Watch

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus will be launched on Wednesday, July 31. The live event can be watched on the Nothing events page, or you can turn into the company’s YouTube channel from 2:30 PM IST.

Expected Nothing Phone 2a Plus Price and Features of the Nothing Phone 2a Plus in India

Leaked information mentions there were major changes to the Nothing Phone 2a Plus in important sections such as the chipset, front camera, and charging. Its display size would likely be the same; the Phone 2a also sported a 6.7-inch screen.

The company has confirmed that the same model of the Phone 2a Plus will get an upgrade here, receiving the new MediaTek Dimensity 7350 SoC. In fact, the upgrade is only for the front camera, and it will carry a 50MP shooter instead of 32MP. The rear sensors may remain the same. The battery will still be rated at 5,000mAh with 50W fast charging support.

The Phone 2a Plus, unlike the CMF Phone 1, shall feature a user interface change into Glyph and would have LED lights to keep up with the brand’s unique design language. Surprisingly, despite the ‘Plus’ branding, it seems not growing in the display leading to a similar design language of its past. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus will be priced at around Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 above the Phone 2a, meaning it could have an MRP of almost Rs 25,000 when it becomes available in the market.
